so, you all know i had to go to the dentist last week due to a little starburst incident. after my tooth was refilled the office manager had me pay what i deemed an exorbitant amount of money. i told her i didn't think that was right because my employer had changed our dental insurance plan and more services were covered at a higher rate now. she tells me that i have to pay what the old plan says and they'll reimbursement me later if need be. i guess because i was a little "high" on the novacane i didn't have the energy to argue back with her. i check my insurance online today. and guess what? i've overpaid $20. supposedly the dentist is going to reimbursement. but i called and had a little "discussion" with the office manager today, requesting that they get the updated information from my insurance because i refuse to overpay, get reimbursement, overpay, get reimbursed, etc. i'm starting school in the fall, and i just don't have a lot of money to waste or be tied up at a dentist's office.
gosh! why couldn't she just listen to me and checked this out last week! customer service has gone down the tubes!
i'm going to get my teeth cleaned on sept. 16th. i'll let you know how it goes!
