random thought: what is up with all of the christmas music before thanksgiving? geez louise, can we not have a distinction between the holidays? thanksgiving runs into halloween (not that halloween is a holiday, but you know what i mean), christmas into thanksgiving, new year's into christmas etc. etc.

so, this is my first thanksgiving with gorgeous except i'm not going to be with gorgeous. because of the nature of his job he usually doesn't get the holidays off. this year is the first year he's had turkey day off in like seven years. so, he chose to spend it with his mother. no sweat. my grandmother traveled quite a distance to be here in the metroplex with me, so i chose to stay, and gorgeous chose to go see his mother.

i wonder what christmas will be like.

i guess it's a good thing i'm my own person, and we don't have any children right now. i guess we'll have to be more compromising when the kiddos arrive.

(edit: there aren't any kids on the way. but when they do come we'll have to be a little more compromising. i went back and read that and realized it sounded like i was pregnant. ah!!!)

(edit2: oh yeah, and happy thanksgiving!)

p.s. if it counts any, I get in a mood in, like, July and listen to Christmas music then too. Usually right after my birthday, around that time.

I am with you on the Christmas thing. They move it up every year. There were Christmas lights sitting next to the trick or treat candy this year in a lot of stores. When it comes to where the kids go on holidays when you and your mate go in different directions it usually goes like this for us: “you take them with you I had them last time” haha.
