with the superbowl coming up, i've been thinking about a few pertinent things.

1. janet jackson – why does everyone refer to last year's mishap/wardrobe malfunction as the little stunt that janet jackson pulled? if i remember correctly, and i believe i do, justin timberlake did all the pulling. but the media portray him as blameless.

2. rush limbaugh – remember those comments that got him fired (forced resigned, whatever) in october of 2003 about donovan mcnabb? all i can say is :-P his comments were racist and uncalled for. we all know the qb is the leader of a football team and rush basically told black america that we aren't fit to be leaders. frankly i think he should take his fired, drug addicted, biased self somewhere and sit the hell down and enjoy the game.

3. terrell owens – is he stupid? i mean i know the superbowl is the mother of all games for an athlete, but why in the world would you want to risk serious injury by playing on an already injured ankle. plus he hasn't played in a real game in several weeks. is it really a smart decision to put a "cold" player out on the field for the mother of all football games?

When you say, "the mother of all games for an athlete," you do mean for only football players, right?

right, because only football players play in the superbowl. however, it would be quite interesting to see things mixed up a bit. :-)

No... I thought you meant the Superbowl was the mother of all games for ALL athletes. Because I'm sure any soccer player in Germany or Brazil could give a rat's ass about the Superbowl.

Well, Terrell certainly surprised a lot of us with his performance.

Agree with you on Justin Timberlake. Maybe I should start referring to Timbergate.
