-so the other day i had to ask butch for some assistance with ournetwork — you have no idea how much pain this caused me.

-today, butch announces that she leaving — honestly, for like two seconds i thought about standing up and doing the running man, cabbagepatch or some equally embarrassing 80's dance — then she finished her sentence. ...for about an hour to go to our other building to conduct a tutorial on our new chat system — damn!

-it's the fifth week of grad school, and i've contemplated quitting four times — according to gorgeous. he's keeping count, but i thinkhe might be exaggerating a little.

-i bought this cd on amazon.com yesterday. i can't wait to get it.

-speaking of song. i need one for my wedding ceremony. i was thinking "you light up my life" by whitney houston. what do you think? about the song, not the crack head ... um i mean artist.

-does anyone out there watch the new show medium? i'm totally addicted to it. i tivo it (thanks gorgeous!) on mondays and watch it after iget out of hell ... um i mean class.

-well, that's it. sorry for the staccato-like blurbs. blame it on grad school, this wedding and me being hormonal and a.d.d.

"You Light Up My Life" works on a couple of different levels (personal and spiritual), so that could be a good song.

When I got married, all that I cared about was that one of my favorite hymns from the 1960s Methodist hymnal (Now the Green Blade Riseth) get incorporated somehow. It was played as people filed into the church, getting ready for the wedding.

That is a good song. “Beautiful Surprise” by India Arie is a good song to throw in somewhere. My wife decided to use it for her entrance song. She had a friend sing it who brought along a gentleman to play the acoustic guitar. It almost brought tears to my eyes but all of my body fluids were busy with my sweat glands at the time.
