i've been feeling down as of late, so i decided to post some positive things that have happened to help me keep things in perspective.

first, i'm marrying the most wonderful, understanding and caring man on earth. and on top of all of that he's gorgeous too! we spent the weekend in austin as he had a long layover there for his job. so, i drove down to spend some much needed quality time and also visited my cousin. did you know there are about 500,000 students that attend the university of texas at austin? that's a lot of bodies in one centrally located area! i think if i had to do school over again, i'd go to utaustin. the town is really young and fun because of all the college students.

next, school is almost over for the semester, which means i'm closer to the wedding (23 days) and closer to the honeymoon ;-) i don't know how i'm going to make out grade-wise, but for some reason it doesn't seem to matter this semester. life is too precious to worry about small things like an 'a' or a 'b.' and what exactly is an 'a?' right theo (lol) ?

thirdly, my mother-in-law-to-be is making a strong comeback from her last round of chemotherapy. we're all praying that she remains strong enough to make it to the wedding. my faith tells me she will.

lastly, some friends and i donated to a group of soliders at www.anysoldier.com last month. i received a card last week that they received our package and were very grateful. that really uplifted my spirits. the card sits on my desk at work, so whenever i think i want to complain about my job, i know there are other jobs out there that are much harder than mine.

that's about it. this weekend i'll be packing up stuff, so if you've got some free time...
