Britney ready to start trying for baby No. 2
By Jeannette Walls
Britney wants another baby — with the same daddy.
Despite the widely reported woes in the marriage between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Spears is eager to give their son Sean Preston a sibling — "the sooner the better" — according to In Touch Weekly.
"Britney was advised to wait at least three months after her baby's birth before trying to get pregnant again," a "friend" told the mag. "Now that that's passed, she wants to try right away."
Spears reportedly is hoping for a girl this time around, and is actually thinking that another baby will help smooth out her rocky relationship with Federline. "She is hoping another baby will strengthen her marriage to Kevin," another friend told the mag.

i'm not really a big britney spears fan. i don't really like her at all. and it almost makes me sick that i'm posting about her again. but i was so floored by the last paragraph of this article, i had to blog about it. it really makes me angry when people think that a child will solve their relationship woes. it does just the opposite. children are hard work. they are blessings, but they are also hard work. it's really upsetting how some people (celebrities and no-celebs alike) take the responsibilities of parenting so lightly. what's so ironic is i read stories on the motherhood is not for wimps Web site, and i'm really transported by her feelings of worry about being a good mother - her concern about her child's first immunization shots - told through wonderful stories. and then i read crap like this about britney spears. i guess it just goes to show that there are all different kinds of people in this world. good, bad and plain ole stupid.

To be fair, we really don't know whether the statements attributed to so-called "friends" are Britney's true feelings.
Think about it. If you're truly a friend, would you go blabbing to a magazine that your friend thinks that a second child will strengthen her marriage.
Well, perhaps you would, if you (the so-called "friend") is as dumb as a board.
