another tax free weekend in the state of texas. the goal of the program was to help with going back to school. so, why is it that clothes, shoes and diapers? ... yes diapers are on the tax free list but not pens, pencils, paper or backpacks. that's a great message we're sending to the kiddos. it's more important about how you look, not what you learn.
i guess with so many teenage mothers, diapers can be a school supply. but adult diapers? come on people!

Coming from a state that is tax free all the time (Delaware) it's funny when I hear people getting excited about tax free shopping. Anyway... you're right school supplies should be number one on the list since it's supposed to be for going back to school. Go figure.
