school started, and i guess i have a case of "senioritis" or something like it. i just don't have the energy this semester. i don't have the will to debate, go above and beyond, or try to change the world through written word. i don't know - maybe it's because i'm getting older or maybe it's because since i started this program, i've started a new job, planned a wedding, watched my mother-in-law slowly die, dealt with the wrath of hurricane rita (remember that one? not katrina ... rita!), and survived an inept professor. i guess i've had enough, but i must press on. keep my eye on the prize. please lord help me make it till august!

Senioritis is definitely a problem in grad school too--you're not alone. Good luck in your studies!!
