i promised i was going to be more faithful to this blog once i finished school, but maintaining a new home is more time consuming than researching and writing thesis ... whoda thunk? additionally, i've been in a real funk lately. i haven't been doing all the things that i should, like working out, praying, reading the bible, etc. i don't know if i'm depressed, stressed, tired, or a combination of all three. but i've made a vow to change my ways!
so, let's see what's been going on? i'm still plugging away at decorating the house. many of my relatives are coming for christmas, so i've got to make it look semi-decent and fast! in the midst of this two teaching jobs kind of fell into my lap, so i'm extremely excited. i'll be teaching two sections of a speech class at the local community college and one section of a pr class at my alma mater. too too exciting!
i'm an aunt! my sister had her baby in november. little miss wonderful said hello to the world on nov. 17 at about 8 in the evening weighing 8 lb. 2.4 oz and 21 inches long! i never thought i'd be an aunt before a mom, but such is life.
